胭脂红亦称“蔷薇红”、“洋金红”、“玫瑰红”，为低温釉彩。包括釉和彩两种：一为浓艳的粉红釉，因色若胭脂而得名，始见于康熙晚期，雍正时用得较多，施釉较薄，色调鲜艳。另一种指绘画于粉彩器上的桃红色彩，多用于花卉图案上，绘工精致，笔触细腻。
