Ink on silk, rounded fan mounted as a sheet. In clerical script, the first part of the calligraphy featuring the inscription from the bronze pot from the tomb of the Emperor Xuan of Han (Dongling hu ming). Signed Liu Boyu, dated jiawu (1894), with a dedication and two seals of the artist along with a collector seal. Dia of image: 24.3 cm (9 5/8 in.) With general surface dirt and slight discolouration to silk. Having light spotting and a few stains. Otherwise good. Please see additional photos for detail.
