A Northern Swedish silver sugar box Oval vessel on four pad feet. The domed lid with a folding handle and a central relief depiction of a dog at rest. H 11.5; W 14.3 D 9.5 cm, weight 319 g. Umeå, marks of Erik Linderoth the Younger, 1853. Nordschwedische Zuckerdose Silber. Auf vier Tatzenfüßen ovaler, leicht konischer Korpus; der aufgewölbte Scharnierdeckel mit umlaufenden Pfeifen und Klapphenkel. Auf dem Scheitel die reliefierte Darstellung eines liegenden Hundes.
