A LARGE CHINESE IRON RED-DECORATED `DRAGON AND PHOENIX` VASE The pear-shaped body atop a tall flared foot, painted with opposing aquatic dragons floating either side of a flaming pearl, with rolling waves and marine vegetation below stylised cloud swirls, all above a band enclosing cranes, the foot decorated with a qilin , a deer, a horse and a lion dog over tumultuous waves, the tapering neck with a pair of phoenixes flying against a ground of scrolling vines issuing stylised lotus flowerheads, with a ground of honeycomb enclosing flowerheads above a raised horizontal band, 60cm high 礬紅龍鳳呈祥紋瓶
