来源：伦敦古董商Louis Joseph 笔筒以白玉雕琢，玉质柔润细腻，光气纯熟，通体光洁匀净。笔筒整体呈圆柱形，器身厚实，通体以高浮雕技法雕刻访友图纹饰，山崖奇峻，苍松翠柏相间，山路小径处，茂林崖间有一慈眉老者，老者衣袂当风立于山崖之上，身后有一童子携抱古琴，人物细节刻画细腻，生动传神，活灵活现，风景秀丽，画面和谐。整体造型规整大方，雕工精致传神。松树老人皆寓意长寿，皆以物祝寿，借物抒意，十分适合作为文房收藏陈设。
