题识：胜利之夜。院西仁弟欣赏。日本报降后三日，子恺于重庆作。|钤印：丰子恺、缘缘堂画缘 |一九三七年抗日战争爆发，丰子恺带领家中老幼一行十多人，仓促辞别石门镇的缘缘堂。抗战期间，他以其“五寸不烂之笔来参加抗战”，发表抗战漫画，传达抗战讯息。凭借其漫画的感染力，燃起众人卫国的赤子丹心，更以悲恸之笔痛斥战争的无情。一九四五年八月，抗战胜利，丰子恺同全国人民的心情一样，无比兴奋，挥笔作《胜利之夜》，表达战后幸保一家，各人得以团圆欢庆的情景。
