Blue and white soft-paste plate, China, Qing dynasty(1644-1912), Qianlong period(1735-1796), deep plate of finest porcelain quality, so-called soft-paste(chin. jiangtai), with craquelé and clearly drawn cobalt blue underglaze painting as well as gold paint, in the centre an exalted palace scene with officials in the pleasure pavilion of the imperial garden, pointed to by two court ladies in conversation between trees and rocks, the rim decorated with a chrysanthemum head border and gold line, almost perfect condition, 15,5x3,2cm
