Imari plate in chrysanthemum form(jap. rinka), Japan, Arita, Edo period(1603-1868), 18th century, Porcelain with cobalt blue underglaze and iron red onglaze painting as well as gold paint, in the centre a rich flower bouquet of chrysanthemum and plum blossom branch on a period-typical wooden plateau, at the rim decorative cartouches with a butterfly roundel in tendril work, in between golden fan leaves, reverse decorated with bundles of scrolls, imperceptible hairline cracks at the mirror, 31x5,5cm
