The jars are potted with a slightly splayed foot, painted around the rounded body depicting lobed cartouches with scrolling chrysanthemum-heads and foliage,pressed between a ruyi head decoration at the shoulder and base, a tapering neck decorated with a lappet border and the domed flattened covers similarly decorated, the trumpet vase with similar decoration. The base of the vase and jars left unglazed.
