The cylindrical body of the censer with the slightly flared sides decorated with interspersed four concave sections supported on three short slightly conical feet, the body surmounted by a short waisted neck, with a band of stylised pendent ruyi-head lappets around the shoulder, the sides flanked by a fine pair of mythical beast with jaws open wide and issuing loop handles with a bifurcated tongue that curl to the body of the censer with suspending loose rings, the slightly domed cover divided by three small raised open flanges encircling the raising knop ending with a revers helmet.
