Provenance: Robert Rousset, Paris (1901-1981) Jean-Pierre Rousset, Paris (1936-2021) Cimier a-Bämp, parfois également dénommé Koni, en forme d'oiseau stylisé est supporté par une tige qui permettait de le fixer dans une structure en vannerie posée sur la tête des danseurs. Ce type de cimiers était également utilisé chez les divers sous-groupes apparentés aux Bagas. Ils auraient eu une fonction lors des danses récréatives et post-initiatiques des jeunes garçons et étaient également liées à leur nouveau rôle d'homme adulte et de futur époux. A-Bämp crest, sometimes also called Koni, in the shape of a stylised bird, is supported by a rod that allowed it to be fixed in a basketry structure placed on the dancers' heads.
