A RARE FAMILLE ROSE 'LOTUS AND BATS' BOWLQianlong six-character seal mark and of the period Well potted, rising from a short foot to an everted rim shaped as a flower head with a gilt edge, exquisitely decorated to the exterior with large colourful lotus flowers amidst smaller buds and leafy scrolls, alternating to descending bats each suspending an endless knot, all set above crashing waves and a leiwen band encircling the foot, the base with the six-character seal mark. 16.3cm (6 1/2in) diam.
