Ca. 100-300 ADA beautiful gold finger ring composed of a round hoop decorated with circumferential grooves and a bezel cell set with a carnelian intaglio depicting a pegasus, a winged horse. Pegasus, fathered by Poseidon, sprang out of his mother, the Gorgon Medusa, when the Greek hero Perseus cut off her head.
