拍品呈橄榄形，整器造型颇为独特。通体施哥釉，釉面肥腴莹润，开片分明交错，两侧塑有兽面铺首，玉璧底露胎，胎质细腻。张谦德《瓶花谱》云：“尚古莫如铜器，窑则柴、汝最贵而世绝无之，官、哥、宣、定为当今第一珍品。”可见哥窑之风靡。实际使用时，插花数枝，置于书房案头，尤为雅致。
