A Japanese gunto katana with hanger
Katana signed on the nakago "Nishibe Munenaga"; blade with midare hamon, masame hada, copper habaki, single hole to nakago; ray skin tsuka with gilt cherry blossom menuki, cherry blossom fuchi, kashira and bronze tsuba; metal saya with matching cherry blossom to koiguchi and kojiri; sold together with a World War II-era nickeled chain hanger and cloth sword knot.
