Late Edo period/early Meiji era
Wakizashi in lacquer saya with Edo kogatana; katana signed on the nakago; blade with hako-midare hamon, itame hada, silvered habaki, single hole to nakago; ray skin tsuka with gilt fish menuki, gilt birds on fuchi and kashira, bronze mixed metal tsuba; Edo period kogatana with copper kozuka and bronze menuki.

Condition: Blade in overall good condition; lacquer saya with some chipping; shallow dents to back of kozuka.
