本品撇口，浅弧腹，平底，圈足。口沿以青花绘锦纹一周，盘心绘莲池纹，绘画流畅，荷叶田田，荷花娇艳，清波环绕，绘制精雅，笔触流畅灵动，画面生机盎然，充满自然意趣。此种纹饰最早见于宋代耀州窑瓷器中，从元代开始流行，本品即为这一传统纹饰的继承与发扬。
