壁瓶，背面有孔内凹，便于挂于殿堂大厅墙璧，供插花之用。此件壁瓶口底均暗刻纹饰，瓶身以五彩绘“舜耕历山”图，舜作农夫装束，于田中劳作，身旁白象回首，描绘精湛，敷色精彩。帝舜为“三皇五帝”之一，家境清贫，经历坎坷，却能孝顺友爱，和睦家人，故而得到唐尧赏识，《史记》中有“舜耕历山，历山之人皆让畔”之记载，歌颂帝王贤明、世事昌平。
