诗品句矣，沈鹏。
绿杉野屋，落日气清。脱巾独步，时闻鸟声。
从整体风格来看，沈鹏的书法不拘泥于局部细节，表现出“精”“雄”“老”“丑”的特征，因此避免了大部分草书书家过度关注笔法细节的“谨毛而失貌”的弊病，反而更加关注对于自身心性的表达。需要注意的是，“丑”在书法上并不一定指丑陋，它也是一种体现书法稚拙的审美概念。 从用笔细节来看，沈鹏的草书多以尖锋落笔，笔画尖而不露，爽利而不直白。在运笔过程中，以圆笔为主，因此使转过程形成婉转流畅，但不流于油滑的美感。
