Biedermeier eye turner German 19th century. Glazed wooden frame. In it a small picture of a lady with a dog, her eyes moving to the swing of the pendulum. Oil on plate. Enamelled clock face in brass ring with Roman hour numerals. Brass wheel movement with pendulum and two weights. Strike on the hour and half hour on a clay spring. Size approx. 30 x 24 cm. Starts, eyes move, strike triggers. Door doesn t close.
