Lidded casket Probably India 19th century. Patinated metal. Oval body on four small feet. On top of it a tapering, steeply rising lid which is crowned by a ring. The entire casket is covered with a basketwork decoration, which is pierced several times by decorative bands. Size approx. 20 x 13 cm, height approx. 20 cm, weight approx. 2.8 kg. Condition due to age, as shown.
