FABERGERussian Imperial antique silver and enamel cigarette case, with rose-cut diamonds to the clasp, a silver-gilt portrait of Peter the Great facing right; the reverse with an Imperial double-headed eagle; the portrait enhanced with a ruby cabochon. Presented in the original Faberge lined case. Hallmarked "88", "A*H". 160 grams overall; 8 x 9.5cm; the box 12.5 x 14cm. Faberge WorkmasterAugust Frederik Hollming (1854 - 1915), born in Finland, apprenticed in 1876, was elevated to "workmaster" in 1880, he specialised in all types of cases.
