Painted Gilt-bronze "Mountain" Brush RestChina, possibly Ming dynasty, the hollow crescent-form mountain with five peaks of graduated height, the convex side with five cave openings, with foliage, clouds, and a sun above, the concave side with crashing waves, lg. 5 1/2 in. Provenance: From the David Drabkin Collection, many of which were loaned to the Yale University Art Gallery for exhibition/research.
