Provenance:Private collection, Cleveland, Ohio. The items in the collection were acquired starting in the 1970s from auction houses including Christie’s, Sotheby’s, and Bonhams, as well as from various private collections in the United States. Works from this collection were offered in Oakridge Auction Gallery’s December 2, 2021 sale titled “Appreciating Extravagance: Chinese Artwork from an Important Collection in Ohio.”

Condition:The larger bottle has a chip to the foot, glaze pops to the rim, and iron pitting throughout; glaze defect to the lower area of the body. The smaller bottle has a hairline to the rim, a minuscule chip to the foot, minor iron pitting, and residue to the body.
品相:较大的鼻烟壶底部有磕，口部有釉泡，瓶身有铁锈斑，瓶身下半部有釉裂。小鼻烟壶口沿有冲线，底部有小磕，有细微铁锈斑。
