This white jade vase has a curvy shape with two dragon shaped handles on either side, each adorned with a interlocked jade hoop. The body is flat and circular, adorned by carved floral patterns. The vase is carved from a generous slab of quality Hetian jade, notable for its rich, gentle luster. Chinese jade carving peaked during Qianlong period, with this jade vase exuding the fine craftsmanship of the time. Due to the top-notch quality of the jade itself, the vase is simplistically decorated to emphasize the jade's natural beauty. The vase's dragon-shaped handles are a rare design, considering most of the double-handled vases during the period have elephant shaped handles. Dragons are a stable motif frequently observed on Qing dynasty imperial artifacts, due to its interpreted symbolism of supreme monarchical power. Thus, this double-handled vase might have once belonged to the imperial palace.

此件白玉瓶撇口，束頸，肩部承雙龍耳活環，扁圓腹，腹部雕有花卉紋，圈足外侈。玉瓶用整塊和田籽料雕琢而成，玉質溫潤，包漿完美，玻璃光澤漂亮非凡。清乾隆時期是中國玉雕工藝發展的一個頂峯，從此件花瓶可見一斑。其選料上乘，瑕疵極少，故只是淺雕作爲裝飾，儘可能的保留籽料原有的面貌。同時期扁瓶較多爲雕象耳，而此瓶雕雙龍耳極爲罕見。龍之造型爲清朝規定的皇家御用樣式，象徵了至高無上的皇權，應是出自清宮造辦處之手，爲宮中陳設之精品。
