独立性易（1596-1672），浙江杭州人，俗姓戴，号曼公，出家后法名性易，又号天外一闲人，为明末清初渡日的名医、画家、篆刻家、临济宗黄檗派高僧。少时习儒道，博学能诗，能书擅画，并以医术着世，（1653） 渡日，嗣法隐元禅师，任隐元记室，掌文书，并随隐元驻锡普门寺，曾把预防天花的人痘接种术介绍到日本，被尊为神医。1672年圆寂，77岁。
