罗铭（1912-1998），广东普宁人。字西甫，别号西父。著名画家、美术教育家，创新中国画，蜚声海内外。自幼受家庭环境熏陶，对绘画产生了浓厚的兴趣。50年代曾与李可染、张仃在北京举办写生画展。历任中央美术学院、西安美术学院副教授、教授。
