此器整体镂雕荷花纹，工艺精巧，荷叶、花蕊、枝脉交错相连，形成中空的香囊式坠。玉坠顶端有穿孔，以便穿系佩戴。选材讲究，玉质白润细腻，白玉留皮，既保留了原石的完整度，又增添了视觉上的美观效果。以荷花为雕刻题材，有“出淤泥而不染，濯清涟而不妖”之寓意。
