款识：钱振锽，名山。
钤印：癸卯进士（白）、名山（朱） 钱振锽（1875-1944）近代学者、书法家。字梦鲸，号名山，江苏武进人。清光绪二十九年（1903）进士。本分发刑部主事，时值庚子事变，辛丑条约订约后，慷慨上书，批评朝政，遭嫌而归隐林泉。对贫民颇同情，为赈灾救民，常鬻书以助，书法善行楷，学帖而参以碑意，用笔浑朴，结体宽博。书学主张沉着痛快，有解衣磅礴之概，寓风雷霹雳之声。晚年喜画墨竹，清疏挺峭。著有《名山集》、《名山文约》、《名山诗集》、《名山词》等。
