拍品为传统官窑品种,祭红釉始创于明永乐、宣德年间的高温铜红釉品种,此类铜红釉对烧成气氛要求极严,不仅依靠人工,更赖气候天成,所以很难烧制出通体匀净红艳之色,明宣德朝后技术几近失传,至清康熙年间方逐渐恢复。又因古时皇室常以它作祭器,故称“祭红”,又名“霁红”。
拍品敞口,弧壁,圈足。胎体坚硬细密。形制优美周正。器内外壁皆施祭红釉,口沿有一线“灯草边”,釉色深沉匀净,釉面莹润。
