China, Qing dynasty, Daoguang Mark and PeriodDimensions: 8 1/4" (21cm) DiaThe rounded sides raised on a tapering foot, enameled to the interior with eight multi-colored shou characters radiating from a central shou medallion, enclosed by interlinking foliate scrolls, the reverse with a band of stylized shou characters between interlaced scrolls at the foot and 'comma' motifs encircling the rim.
