本品敞口浅弧腹圈足，修足规整，线条流畅优美，胎质细腻坚白，外施胭脂红釉，内壁素白，胭脂红釉为一种低温油，为清代康熙年间创烧之新品种，雍正时烧造最为精致，以后各代均有烧造，因其以黄金为着色剂（0.5-0.6%）亦称金红釉，釉汁细腻，光润匀净，色如胭脂，故而得名，胭脂红釉呈色有深浅之分，深者称胭脂紫，浅者称胭脂水，因其用料昂贵，烧成条件严苛，极为珍贵，底书大清光绪年制六字双行楷书款，为光绪御窑典型器。
