本品敞口直腹玉璧底，为笔海之形，器型大气硬朗，胎质坚密，釉面紧皮亮釉，通体施白釉，釉色莹亮，以青花装饰，繪通景人物故事题材，画中人物或听琴、或对弈、或读书、或作画，寓意琴棋书画四雅事，文人气昂然，再配以庭院栏杆、修竹芭蕉，洞石芳草，尽显逸致闲情，隐约有晋竹林七贤世外隐逸之风，为不可多得文人瓷之精粹。绘画笔法老到，人物神态传神，表情专注，身材比例欣长，如临风玉树，潇洒安闲，青花发色翠兰，分水明晰，实属文房佳器，置之案头赏心悦目。
