本品由碗、盖、底托三件组成，胎体细腻洁白，器型巧雅，外施胭脂水釉，釉色瑰丽。胭脂水釉为一种低温油，为清代康熙年间创烧之新品种，雍正时烧造最为精致，以后各代均有烧造，因其以黄金为着色剂（0.5-0.6%）亦称金红釉釉汁细腻，光润匀净，色如胭脂，故而得名，因其用料昂贵，烧成条件严苛，极为珍贵，所以，胭脂水釉多为官窑产品。底书晋甎唫舘四字楷书定制款，晋甎唫舘瓷器始见于道光年间，存世极少，现仅见广东博物馆馆藏中有同类款识瓷器，亦为盖碗之器，十分珍稀。
