本品为花觚之形，器型修长挺拔，曲线优美，风神隽秀，胎质细密坚白，紧皮亮釉，通体施白釉，釉面莹润，以青花装饰，颈部和近足处繪通景山水人物故事题材，腹部凸起处两侧开窗内繪锦石花卉纹饰，所画山水人物写意洒脱，高士携琴访友，主仆二人踽行于山间曲径，四周山石古树，草庐溪流，苍烟落照，犹如仙境。青花发色翠兰呈翠毛蓝发色，绘画皴法立体，采用康熙时期盛行的斧劈皴法，分水明晰，立体透视，技法高超实为康熙精品之作。
