A SET OF SIXTEEN IMPERIAL BRONZE-GILT RITUAL BELLSIn a number of sixteen, each bell is finely cast, surmounted with a double-headed dragon handle, the beast is powerfully modelled with with eyes bulging and nostrils flaring above long curling whiskers. The mouth of the dragon is agape, revealing its tongue flicked up between sharp fangs, with two long studded horns extending back over its head along a combed mane with finely incised details. The barrel-shaped body is cast with two dragons striding amidst scrolling clouds, grasping a flaming pearl in one claw. Dimension: 8x10.5 cm. Weight 1256X16 gram.
