Biedermeier mantel clock Austria circa 1820. Mahogany veneer, black lacquered wood, enamel, brass. Narrow, rectangular base, on top a slender shaft and a geometrically structured case. On the stem the trophies of music. White enamel dial with Arabic indices, brass hands, bezel with surrounding pearl band. Unsigned brass movement with spring balancer, lever escapement, quarter hour strike on bell and thread suspension for the pendulum. Size approx. 28 x 11 cm, height approx. 51 cm. Not restored and not working. Pendulum and key present.
