香宝子，亦称宝子，为盛香之器具。北宋道诚法师在其《释氏要览》载：宝子盛香。这件香宝子光气内敛，保存完整。形如豆，子母口，呈椭圆球体，喇叭形高圈足，盖顶置圆钮。法门寺地宫封闭，同时封存了包括香宝子在内的无数珍宝。这些珍宝即为皇帝御物及供物，其中，在“衣物账”及窑藏出土中，香宝子的身影赫然。正如此，此香宝子带着一种天然的历史厚重感与凝重的仪式感。
