20th century Central European School.Untitled.Lithograph on paper.Without signature.Measurements: 52 x 70 cm.We find ourselves with a piece framed in the Central European School of the 20th century in which, in a tenebrist composition, several characters are represented performing a "dance with death". In it, there are figures walking to the right carrying animal skeletons while another row walks to the left interacting with these figures. The Dance of Death or Danse Macabre is a late medieval artistic genre whose theme was the universality of death. Death reminds them that worldly pleasures come to an end and that everyone must die.
