Copy 69/150.Signed and numbered in pencil.Measurements: 30.5 x 22 cm.Painter and graphic artist, he studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts of San Fernando in Madrid, graduating in 1983, the year in which he obtained the University Prize for Painting from the same faculty. In 1984 he was awarded the First Prize "Blanco y Negro" by the Spanish Press. The following year he was awarded a scholarship by the Spanish-American Committee to travel to New York. In 1991 the Paris City Council awarded him a grant. His first works are framed within realism, with the representation of jungle figures or large cities made with abundant matter. Later he evolved towards a neo-figuration in which he undoes figures and reality through successive fragmentations and transformations. Abstraction dominates his current painting, characterised by large canvasses akin to neo-expressionism and trans-avant-garde.
