此瓶为清代官窑传统品种，因形似荸荠而得名。拍品直口，长颈，垂腹，圈足。形制周正，造型饱满，稳重大方。外壁通施厂官釉，色泽苍雅静穆，光素无纹，古意盎然。厂官釉是以铁为呈色剂的高温釉，它是清雍正、乾隆时期御窑督陶官唐英的创新之作，其釉呈色稳定，因失透而显庄严、沈稳，窑变形成黄绿变化，俗称茶叶末釉。唐英《陶成纪事碑》记载厂官釉品种有三:蛇皮绿、鳝鱼黄、黄斑点，后人习称鳝鱼青、鳝鱼黄、茶叶未。从器型、胎土和釉色上看，拍品充分代表了厂官釉的独特魅力。难得的一件精品。
