Rare Chinese 18th / early 19th Century Molded Vase-Shaped Gourd Fighting-Cricket Cage, impressed with 9 of the 18 Lohans around the sides, probably 1 of a pair, with Animal Head & Ring Handles to neck and a round archaistic seal mark to base; the mouth with a black hard wood edge and in a Chinese storage box with old 3 legged hard wood stand inlaid with tiny coral colored stones. Height without stand 6 inches (15.3 cm.). PROVENANCE: Purchased from Steve Yu, Yu Tong Asian Art, New York circa 2010.
