Ink rubbing of a Buddhist stele on paper featuring statue of a seated Buddha and inscription to the bottom of the tablet, mounted as a hanging scroll. Signed and sealed Liu San (Liu Jiping) to theright, dated yimao (1915) with a red seal of him. Both written and carved inscription dated the tablet to December 12th of the second year of Shenlong reign (706 AD, Tang dynasty), from the collection of Chen family of Wei county, Shandong. Bear three collector seals of Cai Shou (1879-1944) "wei na Cai Shou", Lu Lingsu (1883-1957) "Lingsu", and Li Yinsang (1882-1945) "Qinzhai renzi yi hou sui jian." With old mounting and tag to the scroll top, dated yimao (1915),signed Hufu (Li Yinsang) with a red seal. Image: 58.8 x 35.6 cm( 23 x14 in.)
