周江敏，1962年生于南京，先后就读于南京艺术学院、无锡轻工学院、中国艺术研究院学习绘画、雕塑、设计和陶瓷艺术，创作大量艺术作品。为江苏省美术家协会省直分会理事，江苏省第四届美术家代表大会代表。1980年周江敏进入南京艺术学院学习绘画和雕塑，对中国民间艺术产生了浓厚兴趣。他的作品慢慢地被很多人收藏，也逐渐受到了媒体的关注，获得了很多奖项。
