张祖翼（1849~1917）字逖先，号磊盫，又号磊龕、濠庐。因寓居无锡，又号梁溪坐观老人，安徽桐城人。近代著名书法家、篆刻家、金石收藏家。张祖翼是最早走出国门看世界的清朝名士之一。1883年（光绪九年）至1884年，他远赴英国游历近一载，把所见所闻的英国政治、经济、民情、风俗写成诗歌百首，回国后结集为《伦敦竹枝词》、《伦敦风土记》等书出版；并以孔孟之徒的眼光看近代英国，以“杨柳青青江水平”的笔调写泰晤士河，使得这些作品异趣横生，为人乐读。
