Elaborate decoration covering the entire surface with shells, acanthus leaves, fluting, flowers and palmettes. Cartouches on both sides with engraved princely hat above monogram and lions. Hinged lid with mounted knob, movable handle with bast wrapping. Partially openwork rechaud on three dolphin feet over shell bases. The pot locks into the hinged frame, two pins on chains serve to lock and unlock. Hallmarks: Master s mark, fineness.
