A Chinese blue and white porcelain jar and cover, 19th century, with a cyclical date mark, the base painted with a river scene, the cover with floral sprays, height 8.5cm, diameter 13.5cm.Provenance:The Chris Davis collection of Chinese ceramics acquired in Vietnam during the mid 1980's.star crack and crazing to base. Small firing flaw to centre of cover. Wear/rubbing around top rim, small chips to flange.
