LAURANA, Francesco (after)(c. 1420/25 - after 1502) Life-size bust of a young woman Painted in plaster, partly gold-bronzed or bronze. Early 20th c. 50 x 46 x 25 cm. Apart portrait of a beauty of the Italian Renaissance with Venus amor relief on the base. Probably Hippolyta Maria Sforza (1445 - 1488), the first wife of the future King Alfonso II of Naples Etliche small chips.
