MANUEL ALAMINOS (Madrid, 1938)."La Alegría".Oil on canvas.Attached certificate issued by the author.Signed in the lower right margin.Measurements: 55 x 46 cm.Manuel Alaminos began his academic training at the age of fourteen in the School of Arts and Crafts of Madrid, studying the specialities of drawing, modelling and decoration. He extended his studies with work in some porcelain decoration workshops. In 1959, Alaminos travelled to France in order to complete his artistic education at the School of Fine Arts in Paris. There, he alternated his academic training with poster workshops as well as actively collaborating in various porcelain workshops, which to a certain extent marked his professional future. On his return to Spain in 1970, Alaminos set up his workshop definitively in Madrid and began his creative work in the field of porcelain. Micas have been the pieces that have come out of his hands and have spread all over the world. This stage culminated with the creation of the work entitled "Aguila calzada", considered the largest porcelain figure made vertically since the Ming Dynasty. This piece was the pinnacle of his career as a porcelain artist, leading him to win several prizes. His work has been exhibited at major art and craft fairs in many places, including New York, Miami and Australia, among others. In 1992, Alaminos was awarded the prize for traditional Madrilenian craftsmanship by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Madrid. In the mid 90's he decided to broaden his artistic discipline and to return to his first studies, entering other fields such as painting and sculpture. ---------------------以下为软件翻译,仅供参考---------------------
