Of circular form, decorated in bright shades of underglaze blue, painted with a scene of two ladies beneath a rocky outcrop, one bearing a lingzhi fungus, the other with a ruyi sceptre beneath one arm, and a pole with a handkerchief fixed to one end across the other shoulder, all beneath the boughs of a tree, with two tables to the right bearing books, vases and censers, the reverse painted with three leafy branches, the glazed base with a mark of conjoined fish in underglaze blue within a double circle. Period: Kangxi (1662-1722). Diameter: 21 cm.
